In the 1970s, representatives of the South Korean factory Orion Corporation visited the States, and they fell in love with chocolate-dipped biscuits with a layer of marshmallows.
As a result, Orion became the most famous manufacturer of ChocoPie, although since the late 1970s, these cookies began to be made at another factory in South Korea - Lotte. Chocopai came to Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he immediately fell in love with both children and adults. By the way, you can also eat this “chocolate cake” warm: for this, you need to put the cookies in the microwave for a few seconds so that the delicate marshmallows melt and the dessert rises a little and becomes more magnificent.
