Google is preparing an application to decipher the handwriting of doctors (2 photos)

A large number of doctors write prescriptions for medicines in rush, which often causes their patients to not realize they are there scrawled. This problem has been around for decades, and many technology companies have tried unsuccessfully to solve it. Now in business Google enters.
The search giant announced at its annual conference in India, what is working with pharmacists to learn how to decipher handwriting doctors. This technology is currently being tested.
To parse the doctor's handwriting, the user will need to just take a picture of the recipe or upload a picture from memory smartphone. After processing the image, the application will highlight the detected medicines and other important data.
It will be an assistive technology to digitize handwritten medical documents. However, any leave decision medicines can only be taken by a pharmacist, added to Google.
According to the Institute of Medicine (IOM) report, 1.5 million injuries occur every year due to the fact that medical workers incorrectly read handwritten recipes and recommendations. So the problem is really has long been in need of a solution.
