In Slovakia, as in many countries, the homeless often come sleep and live at train stations. But at one of the Slovak stations life the homeless who lived there changed dramatically. The station gave them uniforms, and now they have to help passengers with luggage.
Until recently, these people were homeless and lived at one of the train stations in Slovakia
Civil Association "Against the Current" helped men get a job here, at the station, where they used to hide from bad weather
Association coordinator Peter Kadleczyk stated that for the homeless, it is important not only to get a chance for a normal life, but also pay off debt to society
All men are very grateful for the chance at a new life. Joseph, one of the homeless who were offered the job, stated: “I I want to help people because they helped me.”
