Why in Denmark they built a strange area in the form of circles in which houses are enclosed (13 photos)
From a bird's eye view, these buildings resemble strange circles. in the fields, but in fact there are houses in each of them.
The world is full of unique urban spaces, and Denmark has been particularly successful in planning its residential areas.
However, this is far from the only unique space in Denmark: near the Danish capital there is a district of the garden city of Brøndby, which, with height resembles green cakes, cut into several identical pieces.
The idea of a garden city appeared in 1964, and the local municipality approved such unusual circles.
The construction was successful, in the photo below the area ten years later, in 1974
These circles are divided into yards, resembling triangles or slices of cake.
At the edge of each triangle is a cozy house, and the whole piece is a garden
This arrangement of houses is not at all accidental.
Houses in Bröndby give its residents privacy from the noisy and densely populated city
They also allow you to engage in your favorite hobby: grow fruits, vegetables, berries.
They decided to build the area in circles, also with a specific purpose.
It was a way to increase social interaction between neighbors who live in a garden city.
It also helps bring people together
The area looks very cozy inside too.
Surely living in such a house and working in such a yard helps to feel Danish hygge
