In China launched a clone of the classic Hummer H1 (11 photos + 1 video)
The Chinese have revived the entire line of Hummer H1 SUVs. AT China began selling a whole family of models Dongfeng Mengshi Retrograde 500 - frame SUVs based on the AM chassis General, for which they have an official license this time. 
Full-size frame SUV DongFeng Mengshi (Warrior) now offered in a whole range of modifications. Recall that this model based on the design of the legendary American all-terrain vehicle Humvee/Hummer H1 and civilian customers on sale since July 2021. 
Until now, Mengshi was available to ordinary consumers only in the form a truck with a single-row cab and a "bare" chassis for any superstructure. From now on, a whole range is available, which consists of four body modifications:
- a truck with a single-row cab (two doors),
- a truck with a double-row cab (four doors),
- cargo-passenger station wagon with a standard roof (four doors + two tailgate doors),
- passenger-and-freight station wagon with a high roof (four doors + two tailgate doors). 
The entire family is now named Mangshi Retrograde 500 Series - the change is related to what DongFeng grows from the model name separate brand. 
The overall length, width and height of the station wagon are 5320, 2310 and 1950 mm, respectively, ground clearance - 380 mm, angle of entry - 45 degrees, exit - 35 degrees. Fording depth - 0.75 m, short-term - up to 1.5 m. Cabin capacity - up to six adults. 
The car implemented several unusual design solutions - e.g. water-cooled front and rear axles and preheating of air intakes. Mengshi is suitable for use in high altitude conditions (it can be operated even on altitude over 4500 m) and in a wide range of temperatures (from minus 35 to plus 41 degrees Celsius). 
The basic configuration of the Mengshi Retrograde 500 Series implies 4.0-liter Cummins EQB150-20 turbodiesel with 194 hp and torque torque 600 Nm. It is matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission gears, four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case. Average fuel consumption is 13.5 l / 100 km, the range on a full tank is over 900 km. 
Like the original Hummer, the Mengshi's main base is riveted steel frame with box section spars. The body has frame made of rectangular tubes and external elements made of aluminum and composites. All suspensions of the car are independent, the drive is permanent full. 
The price of Mengshi Retrograde 500 Series in China is from 678,800 yuan (=5.6 million rubles).
