The squirrels were brought to the zoo by compassionate city residents. The employees were thinking hard - what to do with the squeaking lumps?

This amazing and extraordinary event took place in the Bakhchisarai Historical and Cultural Park of Miniatures.

Usually tourists go to the park to look at the exhibition “Crimea in miniature in the palm of your hand,” where the sights of Crimea are presented on a scale of 1:25. Guests are delighted with the beauty they see and go further to the mini-zoo.

Then the excitement does not stop, because in the mini-zoo there live 7 little piglets, goats, chickens, peacocks and many other animals.

And so, in this wonderful place, a completely extraordinary, sweet and kind story happened. In April of this year, work was carried out in the city park to cut down old trees; in one of them there was a hollow with baby squirrels.

It is unknown whether the mother squirrel left the cubs a long time ago or ran away out of fear when she saw the chainsaw. But the fact remains that the squirrels were brought to the zoo by compassionate residents of the city. The employees were thinking hard - what to do with the squeaking lumps?

The cat Murka recently appeared at the zoo, came for a “visit” and stayed. They took pity on her, seeing that she would soon give birth, and allocated a corner where she gave birth to four kittens. And then an idea arose.

They brought the baby squirrels to the cat and placed them carefully. Maybe the mother won’t refuse, otherwise the baby squirrels won’t survive. Murka, all hope is in you!

The cat did not refuse, but at first she looked in surprise: some strange “kittens”! But soon she began to lick them.

The employees were delighted with this turn of events: how well everything worked out!

The baby squirrels are growing by leaps and bounds, playing with the kittens. This story thundered throughout the city. Murka instantly became a celebrity.

Crowds of visitors flocked to the park. The new star eclipsed all the other mustachioed inhabitants of the park.

There was a line lined up for Murka's kittens.

There is no need to worry about their fate.

The cat didn’t have enough milk for everyone, so employees had to bottle-feed the squirrels day and night.

The director of the Bakhchisarai Miniature Park, Viktor Zhilenko, says that the baby squirrels will under no circumstances be left unattended, they will be fed and left. Then they will most likely stay in the park.
