A woman filmed what a cat and a dog were doing while no one was home (7 photos)
It is believed that cats and dogs are irreconcilable enemies. Is it really? A Reddit user with the nickname elphada16 filmed a video that proves that now the expression “live like a cat and a dog” has acquired the exact opposite meaning.
When the spouses are at home, the cat Calvin and the dog Joule do not particularly show friendly feelings. Then the owner installed a camera and decided to see what happens when people are not at home.
In total, the family has four pets: the aforementioned Kelvin and Joule, another dog Tesla, and a black cat, whose name we were not given. The owner, like her husband, works as an engineer, so the animals have “scientific” names.
And here is the whole “gang”. Joule and Tesla are similar, the latter has a white stripe on his nose
Joule was adopted from a shelter 4 years ago, she is now 5 years old. Her ancestors clearly included some kind of hunting dog of the Hungarian Pointer breed. Kevin is 4 years old and was also adopted from the shelter as an eight-month-old kitten.
So, the owner came to work and turned on the camera. Well, technology has revealed the whole truth! As soon as the dog climbs onto his favorite sofa, the cat joins him. These two are having such a great time! The woman writes, this happens almost every day.
Calvin the cat and Joule the dog love to sleep together, curled up when their owners aren't looking.
Oh, they still see it!
Always together
Sometimes Tesla comes to them
Now the housewife keeps the camera open in the corner of the screen on her work computer all day. She noticed: while people are not at home, animals sleep almost all the time. And when the owners return, the pets are active, because it’s more fun with people.
The post quickly rose to the top, and Reddit users asked for more videos of the cute couple. The woman responded and posted several videos on Instagram.
By the way, fans of Calvin and Joule even advised the owner to sell the video on “slow television” to Norway: there you can see a live broadcast of how grandma knits socks or how the fire burns in the fireplace. The hostess promised to think about hosting streams.
