How to turn on the ultraviolet flashlight on your phone

An ultraviolet flashlight is a useful and fun thing. Of course, most of us don’t have to look for evidence or traces of blood in the dark. But for a surprise with a pre-prepared luminous inscription or a good joke on friends, it will still work. However, no one will buy a device just for this reason.

The trick shown here will allow anyone to use a unique imitation of an ultraviolet flashlight using a regular smartphone. You will need two permanent markers - blue and purple, some sticky tape and 3 minutes of time. Even a child can handle such a harmless and fun modification!

First of all, cover your smartphone camera with tape. Using the tape, carefully paint over the camera eye with a blue marker. Make sure that the paint does not get on the phone itself. Then apply another layer of tape, coloring it again with a blue marker. Cover the third and final layer of adhesive tape with purple.

Voila, the modification is ready. Any prankster will come up with thousands of ways to use it in their pranks. Well, if you get tired, just peel off the tape. Of course, you can’t call this a real ultraviolet flashlight, but it’s good for pranks and fun at parties!
