In Omsk, homeless people saved a dog with puppies (3 photos)

A few weeks ago, this stray dog from Omsk gave birth to 9 puppies. To keep the kids from freezing, the mother hid with them under the heating pipes. They had been living there for several weeks.

But on February 23, something bad happened to the dog. She wandered along the heating main in search of food and got entangled in the barbed wire. The poor thing tried to free herself, but this only made her situation worse.

Fortunately, the dog was noticed by people without a fixed place of residence. They knew that puppies were waiting for her, so they immediately rushed to help. But the poor thing, apparently, did not understand that people wished her well and did not even allow her to get close...

Nevertheless, they did not abandon the unfortunate animal. People went to the shelter and informed volunteers about what had happened.

The shelter staff immediately went to help. They managed to calm the poor man down and free him from the wire. Fortunately, the dog was not seriously injured. Animal rights activists took her to the shelter and later returned for the puppies.

Now this dog family will live in warmth. They were given a cozy corner where the kids were not in danger.

“Just like that, in just an hour, the shelter’s population increased by another 10 animals, nine of which are growing and require increased nutrition and attention.

And the mother looks more like a skeleton covered in skin. Apparently, she gave all her strength to feed the babies,” shared the shelter staff.

Now this dog will be able to take care of its babies in good conditions. And all thanks to homeless people!
