After Hurricane Harvey ripped through southeast Texas, Tammy and Ren Canton's home was filled with people. Two families had to live in one dwelling. But when they saw this motherless calf in the flooded town, they simply could not leave him alone.
The family already had several cows on their farm, but they had no experience raising young animals. The calf was given the nickname Harvey. He met his relatives, but gave preference in communication to dogs. The owners say that the animal feels better among dogs, and hardly distinguishes itself from them.
