The Bangor Vineyard Shed posted a video on its Facebook page showing a Tasmanian tiger snake trying to keep its balance while crawling along a thin wire fence.
"I guess when you're a snake, you really want to look at the world from a new perspective. But it really looks like the snake found the most awkward way to look around," captioned the video by Matt Dunbabin.
The post received more than 886 thousand views and almost 5.3 thousand likes. Netizens admitted that they had never seen a snake in such a position.
According to Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife, the Tasmanian tiger snake is a rare, timid species of snake that is protected by the government because it is often threatened by people.
