Soviet stationary reel-to-reel tape recorders "Mayak"

"Mayak-001-stereo"

The network reel-to-reel tape recorder-set-top box "Mayak-001-stereo" has been produced by the Kyiv plant "Mayak" since the fall of 1973. MP provides recording and playback of mono and stereophonic soundtracks. Multiple dubbing from one track to another is possible, with a new recording superimposed on an existing one and synchronous recording on different inputs. There is control of recording on stereo phones and indication of levels using dial indicators with a moving or stationary magnetic tape. It is possible to control all CVL modes, and the presence of a tape meter and auto-stop increases the capabilities of the device. The MP has two tape pulling speeds: 19.05 and 9.53 cm/s. The frequency range on the LV at the highest speed is 31.5...20000 Hz. At the lowest speed 31.5...16000 Hz. The detonation coefficient of the CVL is 0.1 and 0.2%, respectively. MP dimensions - 425x460x200 mm, weight 20 kg. The weight of the remote control is 300 grams. At the beginning of 1980, the technical parameters of the set-top tape recorder were improved and a quality mark was awarded to it.

"Mayak-003-stereo"

The highest-class tape recorder Mayak-003-stereo has been produced by the Kiev Mayak plant since 1984. ''Mayak-003-stereo'' is similar in design and layout to MP "Mayak-001-stereo" and provides high-quality recording or playback of mono or stereophonic phonograms. It is possible to dub from one track to another, with simultaneous overdubbing of a new recording and synchronous recording on different inputs. There is control of recording on phones and indication of its level using dial indicators with a moving and stationary tape. There is a remote control for all CVL modes, a tape meter counter, and auto-stop. Velocities are 19.05 and 9.53 cm/s. The frequency range at the highest speed is 31.5...22000 Hz, the lowest speed is 31.5...18000 Hz. MP dimensions 427x465x203 mm, weight 21 kg.

"Mayak-005-stereo"

The tape recorder-set-top box "Mayak-005-stereo" was developed in 1982 and released in a limited edition (~ 20 pcs).

"Mayak-201"

The Mayak-201 reel-to-reel tape recorder has been produced by the Kiev Mayak plant since 1971. The unified reel-to-reel four-track tape recorder of the 2nd class ''Mayak-201'' (type UP-34) is designed for four-track recording from a microphone, pickup, radio, TV and radio line. Belt speed in the CVL: 19.05, 9.53 and 4.76 cm/sec. The continuous recording time when using reels No. 15 and magnetic tape type 10 is 4x45, 4x90, 4x180 minutes, respectively. The range of sound frequencies at higher speeds is 40...16000 Hz, at medium speeds 63...12500 Hz, at lower speeds 80...8000 Hz. Rated output power 2 W. The level of interference and noise in the W/V channel is -42 dB. Loudspeaker 2GD-22. Power consumption 60 W. The dimensions of the tape recorder are 430x325x165 mm, its weight is 11.5 kg. Price 240 rubles. The first tape recorders were made of plastic, without metal decoration.

"Mayak-202"

The Mayak-202 reel-to-reel tape recorder was produced by the Kiev Mayak plant from the first quarter of 1974. The 2nd class four-track tape recorder ''Mayak-202'' was developed on the basis of the mass-produced model ''Mayak-201''. The new tape recorder expands the range of recorded and reproduced sound frequencies at a speed of 19.05 cm/s to 40...18000 Hz. Electro-acoustic parameters have also been improved due to the use of two 1GD-40 type loudspeakers in the acoustic system, with separated resonant frequencies. The tape recorder has a remote control of the tape for start and stop mode, auto-stop stopping the tape at the end of the reel. By pressing both track selector buttons, you can listen to a two-track stereo recording in mono, maintaining the full frequency range of the stereo recording. Power consumption 65 W. The dimensions of the tape recorder are 165x432x332 mm. Its weight is 11.5 kg.

"Mayak-203"

The Mayak-203 reel-to-reel tape recorder has been produced by the Kiev Mayak plant since the fall of 1976. Designed for recording and playback of phonograms using magnetic tape type 10. Allows you to record (mono/stereo) from a microphone, pickup, radio, TV, radio line and other tape recorder and playback stereo phonograms in mono mode, and on stereo headphones in stereo. The recording level is controlled by arrow indicators, and the quality is controlled by listening. The tape recorder is made of a portable design in a wooden case. The AC has two 1GD-40R heads. The tape recorder is powered from the mains, consuming 65 W. Belt speeds are 19.05, 9.53 and 4.76 cm/s. Frequency range at a speed of 19.05 cm/s - 40...18000 Hz, 9.53 cm/s - 63...12500 Hz, 4.76 cm/s - 63...6300 Hz. Recording duration on 4 tracks when using reel No. 18 with A4407-6B tape (525 m) at a speed of 19.05 cm/s 3 hours, 9.53 cm/s 6 hours, 4.76 cm/s 12 hours. The rated output power on the internal speaker is 2 W, on the external speaker - 4 W. The dimensions of the tape recorder are 165x432x332 mm. Weight 12.5 kg.

"Mayak-204"

It was produced simultaneously with the Mayak-203 tape recorder to increase the range of products. "Mayak-204", except for changes in design, was a complete analogue of the tape recorder "Mayak-203"

"Mayak-205"

The reel-to-reel (stereophonic to linear output) tape recorder "Mayak-205" was produced by the Kiev plant "Mayak" from the first quarter of 1979. Designed for recording phonograms on magnetic tape and playing them on your own and external speakers and headphones. The model provides: separate adjustment of the recording level; fast tape rewinding; temporary stop of the tape; automatic stop of the tape at the end and break; control of the recording level separately by channel with a stationary and moving tape; tone control; volume control with loudness compensation; 3-decade counter; using a tape recorder as an ultrasonic sounder; disabling heads; Remote control for start and stop. Speeds: 19.05, 9.53 and 4.76 cm/sec. Frequency range: 40...18000, 63...12500, 63...6300 Hz. The level of noise and interference in pollutant channels is -44/42 dB. SOI 3%. Rated output power 2, for external speakers - 4 W, maximum 4 and 8 W. Power consumption from the network is 65 W. Model dimensions - 432x338x165 mm. Weight 12.5 kg.

"Mayak-206"

The Mayak-206 network reel-to-reel tape recorder has been produced in a small series by the Kiev Mayak plant since 1980. The tape recorder in design, characteristics and design is a complete analogue of the Mayak-205 tape recorder and was produced to expand the range of products.
