Binwa cheetah is a very rare cheetah listed in the Red Book. You see, "bingwa" means "champion" in Swahili, and the St. Louis Zoo's 4-year-old female cheetah recently gave birth to a record number of cubs.
The average litter size is three to four young.
According to the zoo, Bingwa is already the perfect mom to her three boys and five girls.
“She quickly became adept at caring for her very large litter of cubs,” Steve Bircher said.
