There are times in each of our lives when we want to give up. That's what happened to Josh. After he returned from the war, his life seemed over to him.

The guy developed post-traumatic stress, and he did not know how to live further... The experience did not let him go, and there was no one to support Josh - he was completely alone.

One night the guy decided to commit suicide. He went out onto the porch to smoke his last cigarette. It was pitch black, it was raining, and it seemed that nothing could stop the approaching horror...

Josh finished his cigarette and stood up from the steps.

And at that moment a small wet lump rushed towards his feet! He pressed himself against the man’s feet, as if begging him not to leave. Josh bent down and petted the kitten - he had never seen it here before...

The alien began to rub against the guy’s legs, hug his arms, looking into his eyes... And he cried. It suddenly seemed to him that this cat had brought salvation, that he knew how to cope with the heaviness in Josh’s soul.

“At that moment I stopped thinking about my problems,”

says the guy.

- I started thinking about him! Every day I brought him food, talked to him, and he left and always came back. In the evenings, Scout would sit on my lap and we would just be silent..."

One day Josh returned from work, but Scout was nowhere to be found. He called and searched for him, but in vain. So a new wound appeared in the guy’s heart.

A few months later he met a girl, Becky. She became the one who could fill the void in Joshua's life.

One day, young people heard about an open day at a local shelter. They decided to go and give a home to one of the shelter animals.

“When we walked along the cages with cats, a paw suddenly stuck out from one and hit me on the left hand. I looked inside - the same black and white Cat who saved my life was sitting there! I grabbed him in my arms and was afraid to let go...” Josh says with tears in his eyes.

It was a real miracle!

That same day, Scout returned to his Man's house. He became his closest companion in all matters and just a little angel.

“This cat made me understand that I am not just a broken mechanism, but a man. The scout became my battle friend, the orderly who carried me, wounded, from the battlefield. Fight for my life!” says Josh.

A little later, Josh and Becky got married, and Scout was joined by 3 more of the bride's cats. Their family has become big and happy!

The guy completed his education and began helping people - working in the field of helping war veterans. Now he felt needed, next to people who loved him and... cats.)

And Scout lived a long life, which he ended in the arms of his beloved owner...
