Aggressive visitors from Donetsk showed the culture of driving in Kyiv
Author's description: "Dear conscious motorists! This post is about culture on the roads. The video is its illustration."
"Novoobukhovskaya highway. We are overtaking a slower vehicle in the left lane after it starts moving from a traffic light. At this time, a Hyundai i30 (AN 6348 IM) literally glued itself to our rear, driven by a young man, 23-26 years old, with a brunette in the passenger seat. It is difficult to say whether there were other passengers, but strong silhouettes were clearly visible behind the tinted windows. The young arrogant driver was pushing, nervously honking until we overtook and went to the right, letting him pass. He "punished" us by cutting us off. The car drove on and then behaved extremely recklessly on the road, constantly changing lanes, merging first in front of one, then in front of another, pushing this or that, overtaking on the shoulder. This continued until the turn to the Chapaevsky market, where the slow traffic again brought us together in the flow. We filmed it with a tablet license plates, the driver and his passenger (in the video she happily greets us).
Noticing our increased attention to them, the driver began to behave extremely aggressively: he cut us off, pulled up to the side of the road, pulled in front of us, braking. He braked sharply in front of us and made contact.
It is also worth telling about what happened next. Their aggressiveness increased even more. Meaningful gestures indicated our imminent death and called for us to stop. The car closely followed us along the entire Stolichnoye Highway. During this time, we called the police (102), described the situation, asked them to accompany us by phone and give us instructions on what to do next. Under the interchange at Vydubychi, the Hyundai stopped, we made sure that it was not trying to follow us anymore, we received advice over the phone to go to the nearest police station (Goloseevskoye) to write a statement describing the events. Which we did.
We have described the incident in detail specifically so that each of you knows how to act in such situations - when you encounter aggression from a neighbor in the traffic flow. The road is not a place for outrages."
