Canadian truck built by Terex Corporation (General Motors). It has a dead weight of 235 tons, with a maximum allowable weight of 550 tons. Equipped with a 16-cylinder engine with a volume of 169.5 liters and a power of 3,300 horsepower (2,460 kW), coupled with a generator. The generator supplies power to four electric traction motors located on each of the rear wheels. It is 66 feet (20 meters) long and 22.6 feet (6.9 meters) high. 56 feet (17.1 meters) height with discharge tank extended. Built back in 1974 at GM's London, Ontario Plant, it was tested for 12 months in California. It was fully installed at Sparwood BC in 1978 for Kaiser Resources Ltd. It ceased to be used in coal mines in 1990 and is now located in the town of Sparwood.
