How to turn a beer bottle into a musical instrument
It's no secret that glassware hides music - you just need to know how to extract it. Just remember the enchanting melodic sound that appears when you run your finger along the edge of a crystal glass. Using sound as a catalyst for creative ideas, Philadelphia-based design research company Tuned has come up with a concept beer brand called Tuned Pale Ale.
The type of beer could be different, and in general, the drink itself is far from the main element of this concept. The main thing is a bottle made of high-quality glass, which helps to extract the most melodic and pure sounds.
In turn, in order to control this process, notes and corresponding divisions are applied to the Tuned Pale Ale label: all you need to do to “tune” the bottle is to drink its contents to a certain point. Once this is done, the bottle can be used as a wind musical instrument. Overall, it's very melodic.
