Jacques Dupaquier is a French academic and member of the French Communist Party. I think that membership in the Communist Party was the reason why he came to the USSR. He came not just once, but three times (1956, 1964, 1975). And not only to Moscow, but also to Leningrad, Kuban, the Caucasus and so on. But his photographs of Moscow in 1964 turned out better than others. I suggest you watch them too.
