During the riots in Paris, rioters tried to break into a store but failed to breach the glass storefront.
Not all storefronts "fell" during the protests in Paris: French rioters gave free publicity to a Chinese glass supplier.
The Louis Vuitton storefronts withstood the onslaught of protesters, who tried everything imaginable to break them. Batons, feet, cobblestones, and chairs were all used. However, the glass did not yield, remaining intact.
Chinese diplomat Zhang Heqing shared a video of the impact-resistant material. According to him, the protective glass was manufactured in Henan Province, which is why it is so "tough."
