The Clio with an engine where the back seats should be (1 photo)
At first glance, it looks like a familiar compact Renault—just with an ultra-wide stance. In the Clio V6, however, a 3.0-liter engine sits right behind the front seats. Beyond its recognizable silhouette, very little of the ordinary city hatchback remains.
The first-generation model came equipped with a 230-hp V6. Going with a mid-engine layout meant ditching the rear bench entirely, turning it into a strict two-seater. With packaging like that, even the familiar Clio silhouette takes on an entirely different edge.
The photographer notes that he snapped the car in a small Polish town back in 2011, calling it his all-time favorite automotive spot. It is an old personal photo, resurfaced and shared once again.
