A bear strolled through the hall of a library in California, ate the staff's food, and took a jar of honey. Interesting fact: the incident occurred on the 100th anniversary of the publication of the book about "Winnie-the-Pooh." Alan Milne's first book came out on October 14, 1926.
The predator wandered into a library in the town of Mammoth Lakes on October 14 around six in the morning. After wandering around the hall, he quickly sniffed out where the staff kept treats. The bear's haul included peanut butter, peaches, and cookies. Having eaten his fill, he grabbed a jar of honey and left the building. Staff reported that not a single book was damaged.
