If you've ever wondered what would happen if you drove up a flatbed ramp at full speed, we have great news. First, it's actually possible. Second, it looks insanely cool.

This madness officially went down in the US at the Hudson Speedway in New Hampshire. To celebrate Labor Day, the track hosted a wild event dubbed "King of the Hill."

The concept is simple: a pickup truck towing a ramp-equipped flatbed trailer hits the oval track. The truck doesn't stop, lapping the track at a solid clip. Meanwhile, a swarm of drivers in beat-up old cars sets off in hot pursuit. Their main goal is to catch the trailer, hit the ramp at speed, stick the landing on the platform, and hold on while the truck keeps moving.

On social media, the spectacle has already been dubbed a "deadly game of musical chairs." Cars smash into each other, crash into the barriers, fly off the trailer on turns, and roll over hard. At one point, someone even tried to land a family minivan onto the platform, but the laws of physics won out.

In the end, local driver John McInnis proved to be the slickest operator in an old junker—he managed to lock down his spot on the platform and took home the "King of the Hill" title. While Formula 1 drivers fight over milliseconds, these guys fought a brutal battle for a parking space.
