We just discovered that fur seals are actually... sea doggies! (20 photos)
Although dogs and cats live on land and are easily tamed, it turns out dogs have much more in common with marine mammals than with their furry foes. Both dogs and fur seals belong to the same suborder of carnivores—Caniformes (unlike cats, which belong to the suborder Feliformes). And although the fur seal subfamily is related to seals, it turns out that seals are more like blennies. Don't believe me? Take a look at a few photos below.
