Compiling a ranking of the most aesthetically pleasing motorcycles of all time is a highly subjective task, but experts have compiled a unique chronological list of bikes that have become benchmarks of industrial design. The list includes legendary historical models, from the iconic pre-war Brough Superior SS100, which cost as much as a house, and the luxurious American Indian Four in Art Deco style, to the technologically advanced BMW R12 and the forefather of the modern chopper style, the Harley-Davidson EL. The second half of the list included the British benchmark Triumph Bonneville T120, the iconic off-road enduro Honda Africa Twin, and the rare Honda NR750 superbike with its unique oval pistons. The final point of the hit parade was the modern neoclassic MV Agusta Superveloce, created especially for connoisseurs and collectors. The compilers emphasize that the models are deliberately arranged by production date, as it is simply impossible to rank the top spots among these masterpieces of engineering.
