A pair of ruddy shelducks took a liking to the elephant pool at the Moscow Zoo and began chasing away other birds. The audacious avian activity was disturbing the enclosure's main inhabitant, the elephant Pipita. The animal couldn't begin her morning meal due to the noise and commotion. At some point, her patience snapped.
The elephant chased away the ruddy shelducks, who were attempting to establish their own rules in the pool. The animal's intervention restored peace and order.
