A former train driver created a neural network video about a robot and received an invitation to Hollywood
A Chinese enthusiast created a short film about the adventures of a robot in a post-zombie apocalypse world. He was inspired by the TV series "Love, Death & Robots."
Liu Ziyu from Yunnan Province created a short film about a robot using a neural network in ten days. He previously worked as a machinist and had never written a script.
Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2 neural networks were used to create the frames, Midjourney and Flux Max 2 for photorealism, and Seedance 2.0 animated the scenes and turned them into a full-fledged video.
The video went viral on Chinese and Western social media. Hollywood director PJ Accetturo saw the short film and called it one of the best in recent years. He invited Liu to join his team.
It is still unknown whether he will decide to move to Hollywood. Liu admitted that he doesn't feel particularly drawn to the United States and would like to stay and work in China.
