A six-meter electric drone flies up to a tree, secures itself to the treetop, then lowers a saw and carefully cuts the branches. It then cuts down the trunk and carries the tree away whole.
The goal is selective logging to restore ecosystem health. This approach helps the remaining trees grow faster, reducing the risk of fires and the spread of disease.
