A Chinese "Super Dad" Adopted Nearly 300 Children, Placing Them in a Dream House (4 photos)

There's a man in China who has 300 children. No, he's not a romantic hero, but a man who "gave birth" to these children with his heart. In his home country, 52-year-old physical education teacher Bai Jian is known as a true super dad.





For the past 30 years, Bai from Liaoning Province has not only provided orphans with a roof over their heads but also helped them build a successful future.

How did it all begin?

Bai was born into a poor rural family in Liaoning Province. He was accepted to college thanks to his exceptional athletic talent and subsequently excelled in long-distance running. After graduating, he was appointed a physical education teacher at a high school.



To support such a large family, Bai took out loans and worked several extra jobs. His mother and two sisters helped him with the household chores. Because Bai himself excelled through sports, he made physical fitness the foundation of their upbringing. Every day, regardless of the weather, the children wake up at 4:30 a.m. and run over 12 kilometers.

Sports are completely fair, and hard work always brings results. It instills endurance and mental resilience in children, the man is convinced.

Currently, the "Dream House" houses approximately 1,300 medals earned by its students over two decades. Bai is concerned not only about the children's shelter and food, but also about their future success.





More than 100 of his students have received university educations, and 50 have become high-level athletes. Among them are professional athletes and civil servants. One of his adopted daughters, whom he adopted at age 11, was able to enroll in the country's most prestigious universities after winning a national competition.

Bai also pays close attention to the children's emotional well-being. He teaches them not to harbor hatred toward the biological parents who abandoned them.

Hatred is a sword that has a double effect. It harms not only others, but also yourself,

Incidentally, Bai himself got married at the age of 46 after breaking up with several previous girlfriends. They couldn't share his joy at adopting so many children. In 2020, he had a son.
