What do a swamp bear, an English princess, and a bird battle have in common?





These three artifacts are separated by hundreds of years and thousands of kilometers, but each represents a time machine of sorts. One hid in the peat bogs, another survived wars and revolutions, and the third captured the brutal beauty of a bird battle. Breathtaking antique rarities await you.

1. A 2,000-year-old Roman silver dagger discovered by an archaeological intern in 2019 in Germany, before and after nine months of meticulous restoration.

10. This unique pre-Hispanic Mayan molar, whose occlusal surface is inlaid with greenish jadeite, is currently housed in the Popol Vuh Museum in Guatemala.



The inlay, which was applied during the person's lifetime, is firmly held in place by a cementing material.
