A 90-year-old American woman entered the Guinness Book of World Records by hanging on a horizontal bar for almost three minutes

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Anne Crile Esselstyn has surpassed the previous record holder, who was 81 years old. Anne had been passionate about sports since childhood, dabbling in 10 disciplines, but set her first record at an advanced age.

The retiree trained for just a month for the record, inspired by her son, Rip. During her first attempt, she held the hang for 2 minutes and 41 seconds, but observers advised her to repeat because her legs were kicking. Just half an hour later, Anne improved her time by 11 seconds and made history.
