A24 Studios has released the first official trailer for Backrooms, a film adaptation of the internet myth of endless yellow corridors and frightening entities. The film is based on the creepypasta story of the same name and a series of viral videos by director and YouTube creator Kane Parsons, who is making his feature film debut. In the story, a psychotherapist crosses a strange door and enters an otherworldly dimension where endless empty rooms and corridors become a trap, and mysterious entities threaten those lost within. The film's world premiere is scheduled for May 29, 2026.
