Ford CEO Jim Farley's income in 2025 reached a record high despite the company recalling millions of vehicles and losing profits. According to Carscoops, citing Ford shareholder filings, the CEO received $27.5 million, which is approximately 300 times the average salary of an ordinary employee.
Jim Farley's income increased by 11% compared to 2024. The final figure is made up of official salary, stock options, various compensation, and bonuses. The Ford CEO received his bonus, in part, for exceeding his electric vehicle sales target and increasing revenue from third-party services.
The average salary of an ordinary employee in 2025 also increased slightly compared to the previous year. It reached $93,397 per year.
The publication also notes that Ford only met its gross profit target by 64% last year, with a net loss of $8.2 billion. Furthermore, in 2025, the company conducted more than 150 recalls involving nearly 13 million vehicles—a record.
