In the US, an overweight house cat became frightened during a visit to the veterinarian and tried to hide in a chair, but its weight proved too much, and the animal became stuck. The owner had to call the fire department to free the trapped pet from the upholstered furniture. Rescuers managed to free the cat without injury, and the cat eventually made it to the clinic.
