Fat cat prefers to be stuck in a chair rather than go to the vet (3 photos)

Pet owners know what a torture a trip to the vet can be. But this cat from Overland Park, Kansas, USA, went completely nuts when he realized his owners were about to take him to the vet.





The cat made a desperate attempt to hide and crawled into the mechanism of the convertible chair, where he got stuck (having not realized he was a bit overweight). It seems the unruly animal preferred being confined to the chair to avoiding a trip to the vet. That's just the way our pets are.



But the owners weren't content with the situation and called the fire department, who sawed through the chair and freed the cat. A trip to the vet was ultimately necessary. Incidentally, the cat is fine, and the vet visit was just a routine annual checkup.
