Tropical Cyclone Narelle turns the sky red in Australia
Tropical Cyclone Narelle has kicked up dust clouds, turning the skies over Australia bright red. The "colorization" is accompanied by a powerful storm that has already ripped roofs off some homes in the northwest, with wind gusts reaching 250 km/h (155 mph), according to local media.
A state of emergency has been issued for the Gascoyne coast, which may be declared when the cyclone reaches full strength. Power outages are also being reported in some Australian cities, and forecasters are predicting high tides along 800 km of the coast.
