Students from China taught a robot to play tennis. They fed the android about five hours of video with examples of shots and movements. The robot began to analyze and replicate the actions from the videos in practice.
Chinese students taught a robot to play tennis by feeding it just five hours of video with examples. It can't compete with a pro, of course, but against beginners, it hits balls with ~90% accuracy, making it an excellent training tool.
