Fake news long before Photoshop and AI – a century and a half before the digital age! (5 photos)
Today, when artificial intelligence can create and manipulate images with dizzying precision, we don't immediately believe a photograph is authentic. But in fact, photo manipulation began almost immediately after their invention. The exhibition "Fake!" is dedicated to precisely such photographs, created between 1860 and 1940, revealing the secrets of the Byzantine tricks of the past.
