British virtual band Gorillaz have released a short animated film, "The Mountain, The Moon Cave, And The Sad God." It celebrates the release of their new studio album, Mountain, inspired by Indian culture. It was directed by Jonathan Djob Nkondo, who worked on projects such as Love, Death & Robots and The Kingdom of the Scavengers. 
The video combines several tracks from the album and follows the band members on a walk through the forests of India. The short film was created over 18 months.
The visuals reference the classic Disney film, The Jungle Book. The cartoon's creators used watercolors and practical effects.
