Fight for freedom: A deer got entangled in a net on a sports ground

A Ramsey, Minnesota, resident who built a baseball diamond in his backyard didn't expect it to become a trap for an unlucky deer.
The diamond resembles a wire cage, and a deer that wandered into it got its antlers entangled in the mesh. The homeowner had to call the police to help him resolve the problem.
The police managed to cut the net and free the deer, though not as quickly as they would have liked, as the animal thrashed and kicked, requiring some wresting. Once freed, the deer struggled to escape. In its panic, the poor creature got entangled in the mesh again, this time with its hind leg. Fortunately, the police were still there and came to its aid again.
