The Sphere in Las Vegas hosts screenings of the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz." Specialists used neural networks to enhance the quality of the original film and adapt it for projection on a giant screen. Immersive effects were also added.
During "The Wizard of Oz" screenings in the Las Vegas sphere, special effects literally fall on audience members' heads. To fully immerse the audience, the film was enhanced with various gags: for example, during the apple tree scene, soft red balls rain from the ceiling, during the tornado, a simulated dust storm is activated, and when the winged monkeys appear, mannequins fly around the theater.
Tickets start at $150.
