A LEGO enthusiast has built a fully functioning typewriter from bricks. When keys are pressed, a special mechanism grabs pieces with the desired characters and attaches them to plastic "paper."

A brick manufacturer already released a similar set, but it only simulated typing. Channel creator Koenkun Bricks spent three months building a truly functional version.

The LEGO typewriter works like this: when a button is pressed, a mechanism grabs a piece with the desired letter and delivers it along a belt to the "sheet."

The canvas on which the text appears is also constructed from Lego.
