On January 26, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Diebu County (Gansu Province, China). As the quake struck, customers and employees at a local bank instinctively rushed to the exit, trying to escape the building as quickly as possible.
Only one elderly man with limited mobility remained seated, frozen in fear. People noticed the old man, helped him to his feet, and then carefully led him out of the building to safety.
