Tourists vacationing at a ski resort were caught on video after hanging in a ski lift for three hours in freezing temperatures. The incident occurred at the Longshan Ski Resort in Lanzhou, China, on January 17. Footage captured by witnesses shows the travelers stuck several meters above the ground while ascending the mountain. They were evacuated by rescuers.
A representative of the tourist center reported that a power outage caused the technical malfunction, which then led to the gearbox jamming. There were no injuries.
