Wuhan Railway Station, opened in 2009, is one of the largest stations in Asia and a key logistics hub in China. Its floor area exceeds 370,000 square meters, its infrastructure includes 11 platforms and over 20 tracks, and its throughput reaches tens of thousands of passengers per hour.
During peak travel times, over 500,000 people use the station. In terms of scale and organization, it more closely resembles an airport than a traditional railway station.
