A driver rescued a koala from the road and put it on his bus

The animal tried to climb a lamppost on the median, and the driver became concerned that the little creature might fall and be hit by the car. Sneaking up to the koala, the man wrapped it in his jacket and placed it on his bus, where the unexpected passenger remained until specialists from a local animal rescue organization arrived.
The koala was soon released into the wild and taken to a safe location.
Rescuers added that they do not recommend close contact with wild koalas (these "teddy bears" can both scratch and bite). The best course of action is to try to shelter the lost animal in a safe place and wait for help. The bus was perfect for this.
