Dutch startups have invented something many avocado lovers have dreamed of: a ripeness scanner! These devices are already being widely installed in stores abroad.
The device analyzes the sugar, water, and starch content of the fruit using infrared rays, then displays the ripeness level on a four-point scale. Now we're hoping for something similar for watermelons!
