A pensioner has realized his childhood dream. He built a railroad in his yard.

At the age of seventy, German pensioner Martin Springer has realized his childhood dream. He built his own railroad right in his yard. A miniature one, of course. With the help of his wife, he laid tracks across the entire property and converted the barn into a locomotive depot.

He currently has several electric locomotives and one steam locomotive in his collection. Springer enjoys riding them around his property almost every day. He has no plans to stop there and plans to expand his home railroad. Well, it's never too late to fulfill dreams. Even the most naive and crazy ones.
