Nothing out of the ordinary, just Taiwan's ambassador to Finland performing with his band at a cultural exchange event. 
Taiwan's ambassador to Finland, Freddy Lim, a diplomat and frontman of the metal band Chthonic, organized a Taiwan-Finland music festival in Helsinki.
Lim found out which Finnish officials liked metal and sent out personal invitations. As a result, those who had been saying "I can't attend" for years were now asking if they could come with friends. So he decided to establish cultural communication between the two countries.
Lim himself performed on stage with his band, and his performance went viral on social media. Now people joke that only in Finland can an ambassador and a metal singer be the same person.
