The Chinese have invented a bracelet that delivers electric shocks to the wearer to boost productivity. The shocks are said to enhance mental alertness and concentration, and also keep the body in good shape.
The electric bracelet, designed to replace coffee and energy drinks, has been developed by eCoffee Energyband.
Two electrodes on the bracelet adhere to the wrist and deliver small electrical impulses—essentially a mild electric shock. The manufacturer claims this keeps the brain in good shape, increasing concentration and blood flow, and also invigorating the body.
The price of this controversial device is 899 yuan.
