The last Ford Focus rolled off the assembly line after 27 years of production (4 photos)
Production of the legendary car ended on November 15, with over 12 million units sold. The Focus has been replaced by similarly sized electric vehicles.
The decision to discontinue the hatchback was announced back in 2022, as the company seeks to accelerate the transition to electric models.
The model was a leader in both the new and used car markets for several years.
The demise of the Focus and Fiesta left Ford without two of its most popular models in Europe. Ford fell from second place in Europe in 2015 to 12th last year, losing up to half its market share.
